Now although I can get this to work, that is put something in textfile.txt and have it parsed in to this program and thus every line is printed to the console, I don't know how to do it so that some random file can just send its contents to this program and have this program just ... either the pipe command | or the redirect < will cause the shell to pipe the output from the text file to the perl script and perl will take that output and process it in the while loop. ...
